Privacy policy

Applies to the MARETHIC website. In short: no cookies, no trackers, and nothing about you is sold or shared for advertising.

    Who is responsible

    This policy covers the MARETHIC website at marethic.com. MARETHIC is the name under which Marek Roslik, a sole trader (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) based in Poland, publishes apps; it is not a company. He is the controller of the data described here, and in this policy “MARETHIC” means him. Contact: [email protected]. Each MARETHIC app has its own privacy policy, linked from its card on the home page.

    Visit statistics

    The website uses no cookies. It counts visits with Umami, an analytics tool that MARETHIC runs on its own server: it records the page viewed, the referring site, the browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country, and clicks on the email and app store links. It does not store IP addresses, set any identifier on your device or follow you across other sites, and the statistics cannot be traced back to you.

    Server logs

    Like any website, the server that hosts this one receives your IP address, browser and the page requested with every visit. The hosting provider may keep these logs for a limited period to run the site and keep it secure; they are not used to identify visitors or combined with other data.

    Email

    The email links open your own mail app; the website has no forms. If you write to MARETHIC, your message and email address are used only to reply. Emails are kept for 12 months after the conversation ends, then deleted, unless they are needed longer for a legal claim. Nothing is added to a mailing list or shared with third parties.

    Why the data is processed

    Visit statistics, server logs and replying to your emails rely on MARETHIC’s legitimate interest in running a secure website, understanding how it is used and answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Providing this data is not a legal or contractual requirement. MARETHIC makes no automated decisions about you, including profiling.

    Who receives the data

    MARETHIC does not sell or rent personal data and does not share it for advertising. The website loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. The hosting provider processes the server logs on MARETHIC’s behalf as a processor. Data may also be disclosed where the law requires it, for example to a court or public authority.

    Security

    The website is served only over an encrypted connection, and MARETHIC uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data it handles. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

    Your rights

    Under EU data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to [email protected] — you will get an answer within one month. Because the visit statistics hold nothing that identifies you, MARETHIC may be unable to find data about a particular visit and will tell you if so (Article 11 GDPR). You can also complain to your national data protection authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl.

    When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
